Spectacular 18th Century country village house with private pool, on the edge of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne (near Dordogne, and near Riberac), Charente, France. | |  | This is a really beautiful, traditional house sitting within its own grounds with a private 10x5 pool.
The house is within walking distance of Aubeterre which is one of the most charming villages in France and has all necessary shops and restaurants, as well as riding school, swimming (river beach), etc.
The house has numerous bedrooms and incorporates a self-contained cottage consisting of 2 bedrooms and its own kitchen and bathroom. (Note that the cottage will not be let except with the house so there will only ever be one group on the site.) However the property is entirely suitable for lets of groups of 6 to 8 (or smaller), although the property can in fact accommodate 18 adults easily.
There are 5 acres of garden.
The bedrooms are spacious and most of them overlook the beautiful lawn and gardens. There is one bedroom on the ground floor to the rear of the house with its own bathroom.
There are various large reception rooms, large fully equiped kitchen and a south facing terrace (with outdoor grill).
